Jennifer Laylock of SearchEngineGuide.com wrote a nice post today about Targeting Conversions and Traffic with Long Tail Writing.
She gives a great example of how a local wedding cake company in “podunk” can get a little creative, while much more relevant, with their copy to increase traffic.
Our skilled cake designers spend time working with each bride to create the wedding cake of her dreams. We have existing relationships with banquet halls in Hubbard, Brookfield, Youngstown, Girard and Austintown.
It’s funny to think that most people are racing for the long-tail now and didn’t start with it from the beginning.
Dead on again Jennifer!
